Glossary
The terms used in the app and this guide.
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Account and market | An exchange account plus a market (for example Bybit · USDT perpetuals), chosen in the header. Bots, deals and caps belong to one |
| Adopt / picked up | The Manual Bot taking over a position it didn't open. Picked up is not yet protected |
| Attach | The Hedge Bot watching a position. No order exists until a ladder distance is reached |
| Auto-attach | Whether the Hedge Bot watches new positions automatically (Auto) or only those you attach (Manual only) |
| Base order | The opening trade's position size (not margin) |
| Cross / isolated margin | Whole account vs. only the position's margin backs a position |
| DCA ladder | Extra orders that add to a losing position at set distances |
| Deal | One position managed by one bot, with its own frozen settings |
| Exit-only mode | Licence expired: exits and protection continue, nothing new opens |
| Hedge Mode / One-Way | Separate long and short positions per pair vs. one netted position. Hedge Mode is required |
| Liquidation | A forced close by the exchange. Liq bots fade large liquidation prints |
| Market limits | Caps per account and market: Max deals, Max long, Max short, Margin used. Blank or 0 = no cap |
| Max w/o stop | How much hedge may be open without an armed stop |
| Paired take profit | One combined exit for the main position and its hedge |
| Reduce-only | An order that can only shrink a position |
| Resting vs app-watched | On the exchange (works while the app is down) vs held by the app (works only while it runs) |
| Size % (Hedge) | The total hedge to hold at a ladder level, as % of the main position |
| Stale / warming | Data too old to trade / not enough history yet. New entries wait |
| Timed DCA | A DCA held by the app on a clock rather than resting on the exchange |
| Tranche | One opposite-side hedge order on the ladder |
| Unresolved / reconciling | The app is still matching a figure to exchange records. Never counted as zero |
| VWMA band | How far price must be from its volume-weighted average before a Liq bot may enter |
